On Neural Machine Translation and Post-editing in Translation Training

Summary/Abstract: Translator education has changed considerably over the past two decades, which is due to a series of different influences. One of them is the technological developments, particularly the improvement of machine translation systems. This paper examines the applicability of machine translation as a tool for prospective translators, with the aim of improving curricula and teaching objectives of training institutes and adapting them to the technological development of MT.
