Short Description

Philological Perspective is an open-access scholarly series in the main areas of philological education: Classical and Modern Literature, Functional and Cognitive Linguistics, Applied and Corpus Linguistics, Comparative Linguistics, Linguistics of Media Discourse, Linguocultural Studies, Communication Theory, Intercultural Communication, Discourse Theory, Semantics and Pragmatics, Translation Theory, Linguodidactics, Folklor studies, Ethnography, Mythology, etc.

Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary and intercultural studies in the humanities: classical and modern literature and linguistics, media and public communication, translation studies, new technologies in university education. Texts can be proposed for the documentary section of the series - translations, memoirs, texts from archives, unpublished documents. The scholarly series is also open for reviews/annotations of recently published research in Bulgaria or abroad in the academic field of Humanities.
