Summary/Abstract: The year 2019 was the last year of “normality” as we knew it. It was a year where, in comparison with the year 2020, things went differently. That was because 2020 was actually the year when global priorities changed, altering the strategies and individual plans, as well as those of companies. Thus, the scientific opportunity of analysing and comparing these two years represents the chance of developing research which would prove beneficial for the academic environment given the subject chosen following the increase of the study of corporate social responsibility. The term corporate social responsibility (or its acronym CSR) essentially references an action or series of actions undertaken by an entity like a company or corporation in order to help society. Like the study of international relations, CSR is still in its early stages, but this does not mean that there are is a shortage of highly interesting and very important issues to be tackled as soon as possible. Presently, the speed with which things are evolving at a global level is unprecedented, and this assumes the fact that in order to resist one needs a certain ability: adaptability. It is possible that we are witnessing the change of many paradigms within communication sciences, and this paper supports the efforts to understand and explain these changes when the subject is fresh and can be observed in detail.
