Summary/Abstract: The year 2022 is the year of the announcement by Poland of the Long-term Building Renovation Strategy, resulting directly from the European Green Deal (EGD) doctrine and the Renovation Wave. The aim of the article is to show that the introduction of the model of environmental education of construction stakeholders, especially building craftsmen and instructors of practical vocational training – on the basis of open on-line courses, can contribute to a change in the ways of thinking. The ENCORE model takes into account both the EGD and the Renovation Wave modules, as well as innovative pedagogical solutions as well as the basics of strategy and foresight. The contents of the proposed modules will be verified by industry masters and will contribute to the development of a draft modification of the standard examination requirements for craft masters and, consequently, to the improvement of the quality of the education process of young workers. Along with the Green Deal, remote education and MOOC courses, new perspectives and opportunities for the masters of crafts to acquire green competences in a quick and convenient way, and thus change the examination standard, appear.
