Development of communication competencies in a Virtual Reality environment – looking for optimisation

Summary/Abstract: The article presents a recommendation to enrich the education of teachers and trainers witha hybrid approach to teaching using an immersive virtual environment (virtual reality, VR), whichis a complementary solution for traditional training and e-learning courses. The pros and consof using virtual reality headsets are discussed here for teacher education and the trainer trainingprocess. The article presents the results of the project cacalled: „Collaborative Virtual Realityplatform for e-learning: Teaching Communication” (COViR).
