Summary/Abstract: The present paper analysis the position of the qualifying adjective in the nominal group, based on a corpus of texts included in the volume "Romanian documents and notes from the 16th century". The occurrences of the prefixed and postposed qualifying adjective as a modifier will be considered, in order to establish possible preferences of prefix or postposition compared to the nominal determined in the old Romanian language.
