Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to statistically prove the influence health has on economic growth. The study was conducted between 1990 and 2012 in the 28 countries of the European Union, using as an econometric technique the OLS method, starting from the bloom et.al. pattern (2004). The obtained results confirmed that health improvement can increase production not just by work productivity, but also by capital amassment.
