German Phonetics from a Student’s Perspective. Presentation of the Results of a Survey among the Students of German Philology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań

Summary/Abstract: The intention of this paper is to discuss the results of a survey conducted among over two hundred students of German philology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The data were gathered in the period from December 2021 to February 2022 by using an online questionnaire. It was designed to elicit the information from students of different years of German philology how they see some phenomena of phonetics, for example vowels and consonants, word and sentence stress, coarticulation and how they assess their phonetic skills in these fields.
