Summary/Abstract: Lifelong learning represents an inherent part of everyday lives of every individual and the community. As a concept, lifelong learning is recognized in the strategic documents of European education policies. Also, it has affirmed as the main principle and orientation of many national education systems. The main aim of this paper is to examine the opinions of graduate part-time students at the Faculty Health Studies in Rijeka (people who work and study at the same time) about lifelong learning. The results of this research delineated some very interesting answers regarding motivation, educational idols, obstacles that participants face during education and desirable traits of the educators. The results of this research are encouraging and they raise a number of questions regarding the future of lifelong learning in the Republic of Croatia.
