Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the peculiarities of interpreting on the accordion the transcription of a polyphonic creation from universal literature – Prelude and Fugue in G minor, BWV 535, by J. S. Bach, written originally for the organ. The transcription for accordion is one of the main ways to enrich the repertoire for this instrument, and the potential and polyphonicqualities of the accordion are well-known. Thus, accordion transpositions of polyphonic creations from organ originals are used extremely frequently in the teaching and concert programs. The transcription proposed for research was made by the author of this article.
