Summary/Abstract: The article, which is unique due to its content, analyses the holding of the parliamentary electionsand the results in Bistrița-Năsăud county during the years of Greater Romania (1919–1940).The authors present the electoral systems established in decree-laws which allowed the holdingof parliamentary elections in Greater Romania, in connection to the specificity of political life between 1919–1922, 1926–1937 and 1938–1940. The authors mention the parties’ results and the lists of elected and defeated parliamentary candidates in the 11 elections in Bistrița-Năsăud countybetween 1919 and 1940.Finally, the article includes tables containing the names and surnames of the deputies and senatorselected in the county between 1919 and 1940, their political party, their electoral district andthe votes they obtained.
