Short Description
Revista Bistriței, the scientific journal of the Bistrita museum, appears for the first time in 1971 under the name File de istorie and receives its current name in 1993. It is published annually and contains original papers, preferably written in Romanian, dedicated to historical and archaeological research from Bistrița-Năsăud County, Transylvania, and Romania, which addresses both the public passionate about the study of history, the specialized teachers, and all the professionals in the country, whether historians or archaeologists. The articles are structured thematically into three sections: archaeology, history and reviews. The topics covered cover topics of local, Transylvanian, but also national history.
From 2020, the thematic area of Revista Bistriței expands, including topics of ethnography, art and museology.
