Summary/Abstract: The Romanian National Naval Museum has in its patrimony an impressing collection of naval uniforms (over 55 complete outfits from the Navy and from the commercial Navy and a large number of accessories). This collection is among the most beautiful ones and it highlights the evolution of the Navy. An important attraction are the headpieces, especially bicornes. In the Uniforms and accessories collection there are 15 bicornes and according to the information we have from their donation papers, they are original items, some of them from important figures of the Romanian Navy.
