Summary/Abstract: This is a chronological study of the way the ideas of “urban restructuring” were “implemented” and of the indoctrination conducted for two decades (1950-1970) on several generations of architects, using the principles of “socialist urban planning.” The city as a “weapon of the bourgeoisie” and the “reconstruction of cities as an expression of the class struggle” are the main landmarks of the socialist urban planning ideology.
