Associative research as a way to explain the causes of the errors made by learners of Polish as a foreign language

Summary/Abstract: This article is dedicated to the presentation of an associative research aimed to discover thepsycholinguistic causes of the errors made by East Slavic students learning Polish as a foreignlanguage by enumerating the number of paradigmatic and syntagmatic associations. Theresearch has shown that although foreign students already have an established lexical resource,the government of words, their connectivity in a sentence, has not been rooted in their languageawareness yet.
