Summary/Abstract: This article raises issues related to the problems of pedagogical cognition, that are present in academic praxis. In her ponderings the author directs her thought towards an attempt of confronting the phenomena noticed in this field with the basic task of pedagogy that is diagnosis of pedagogical and educational reality and seeking opportunities for perfecting it – supporting the development of its participants.
