Summary/Abstract: This article is an attempt to answer the following question: By what actions did the blessed Edmund Bojanowski fulfil himself as an educator (both in terms of theory and practice of education)? By analysing the legacy of Edmund Bojanowski, the author reflects upon his educational values and examines the relevance of the views and the practices introduced by him regarding modern education. In her conclusions, she attempts to affirm the educational value of the notions and endeavours introduced by Edmund Bojanowski. Moreover, she expresses and defends the view that they can be applied to modern education.
