Summary/Abstract: In this work I analyze the existing phenomena of social networking, as well as practices of open production and distribution of information, knowledge and culture, as well as and the importance of recognition of the digital commons paradigm, the exploration of which becomes crucial for understanding the potentials and goals of networked economy and online deliberative democracy. The commons paradigm reemerges as an extremely influential phenomenon of the 21st century, as a new form of (cyberethic) solidarity that radically shifts traditional information economy models. This new model of social production, closely related to the hacker ethics, functioning independently from the state and market impulses, is already a sign of the need for repolitization within the information society discourses.
