O poziomowym programie nauczania języka białoruskiego jako obcego
Belarusian as a Foreign Language Level Curricula

Summary/Abstract: The following article analyses the draft of the level curriculum for Belarusian as a foreign language, which mainly concerns grammar, but also the issues of pronunciation, spelling, word formation, syntax, and lexis. This is the first proposal of this type to divide the material according to the language proficiency levels, developed at the Department of Belarusian Studies at the University of Warsaw according to European patterns. In Belarus, such a curriculum for foreigners is still being developed and should be published soon. It is very important because, without it, it is impossible to develop level teaching materials and write level textbooks for foreigners.
