Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes contemporary Polish films in relation to the sensual theory of cinema, as well as psychological constructs such as social attitudes or perceptions of the experience of disability. The aim of this article is to show that a movie can be a means of representing experience. The experience of disability is multi-dimensional. We wanted the films we desribed to allow viewers experience, emotions and difficulties that living with disabilities brings, as well as the struggle to improve the quality of life of people affected by it.
