Summary/Abstract: Various factors of the social life retrain individuals from expressing themselves directly. One of the resistance methods of humans against those factors is humor. While subjects that may not be expressed directly are being defined by the humor, facts such as the individuals’ life perspective, power of reasoning and etc also become apparent with this way. While Keloglan, Nasreddin Hoca, Karagoz are accepted as the traditional representatives of folk humor, reflections of this humor can be seen through every phase in the Turkish literature. Within the worlds that become a global village, improving and expanding of communication channels has affected the way of performing the humor. On one hand the humor continues to be fulfilled through traditional ways, on the other hand it is also expressed via either social or media organs. In this context, another field where the humor can be seen is ‘’the street walls’’ that utilized in public areas. Inside the writings that shared on the walls, emotions and thoughts of both individual and social matters can be observed to have been performed with a humorous way.In this research of recent wall writings; it has been evaluated how the social, political and cultural dynamics of the last decade in (2011-2021) Turkish society are reflected in humor and how these dynamics shape humor.
