Summary/Abstract: Contemporary international security studies have witnessed new debates in the late 20th century with the emergence of many security schools. Interdisciplinary studies have gained a place in the discipline as a new trend after the increase in security issues through expansion and actor diversity through deepening. In this period, when the security literature started to enrich, Ontological Security Studies fed by the disciplines of psychology and sociology gained a presence within the discipline of International Relations and brought its unique perspective to the field. This study shaped within the framework of a literature review aims to reveal the core concepts of the relevant theory and different approaches to the concepts by adopting a descriptive method.
