Swedish but not Ours

Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author critically writes about certain solutions and weaknesses of the Act on the Prevention of Discrimination of People with Disabilities by comparing the provision of this act with the Swedish legal act. The subject matters of his criticism are statutory provisions referring to the prohibition of discrimination of people with disabilities in their job position and in regard to their employment. The author emphasises the following weaknesses of this act: the penalty system is not developed, the act did not define who is considered to be a disables person, what forms or discrimination are forbidden, as well as the lack of an ombudsman for the rights of persons with disabilities.
