FACETS OF URBAN STRUCTURES FOR TERRORISM PREVENTION

Summary/Abstract: The emergence of new forms of terrorism requires the adjustment of the urban space structures in accordance with the up-to-date actions of prevention and defense. The city’ features changed in time as the human society evolved. The threat of exterior forces was constant in time; yet it periodically changed in terms of form and technology. One of the challenges nowadays is finding new solutions for urban planning and design for protecting the urban space and its people against the neoterrorist actions.
