Summary/Abstract: The article presents a series of lectures in Polish studies titled “OPEN EDUCATION – delegated readings, readings stating otherwise” which were coordinated and organized by the author of the article under the auspices of Open Republic Association. The lectures took place in 2021/2022 academic and school year. The series is presented here in a broad cultural context with reference to the categories koiné, community, and solidarity.
