Summary/Abstract: Interlocutive Structure and Verbal Person Morphology in Italian. After describing the pronoun system according to the debate between E. Benveniste and G. Guillaume - that is to say, by articulating the double opposition between the third person and the two interlocutive persons on one hand, and between the speaker and the interlocutor on the other hand – this paper draws a parallel between the articulatory and acoustic aspects of the vowels that characterize the morphology of the Italian verb system.
