Summary/Abstract: We have got used to seeing Dracula as a bloodthirsty vampire, a creature of night and darkness, the embodiment of the devil. This myth is built on some poor knowledge of occult myths and symbols (by occult we mean hidden and not evil because not everything that is hidden is also evil). We do not intend here to dismantle Dracula's archetypal image but we just want to draw attention to the fact that the myth has other deviations.
