Summary/Abstract: The paper puts forth a series of Romanian, Spanish, and Italian sayings, idioms and collocations, meant to capture the value of talking, its countless shades of meaning and the reverberations it has throughout our discourse. The trilingual approach is meant to enhance the existing common denominator. An array of sayings is intertwined with a particular number of phraseological units in an attempt at accentuating folk wisdom alongside lexis richness.
