Summary/Abstract: The review of Małgorzata Gorczyńska’s book focuses on three main keystones, namely metacriticism, a resiliently developing field of literary studies, disclosing Leśmian, utilising the literary critical topoi in critical commentaries on the author of “Dziejba leśna” (“Forest Happenings”), and the revival of nationalistic and anti-Semitic language in the modern critical discourse.
