Summary/Abstract: In this study we analyze some of the poetic directions that were continued or opened in the volume Park by Angela Marinescu. A thorough hermeneutical reading shows how the poet reinvents and recovers for poetry symbols whose poeticity seems lost in the obsolete area of prejudice. The park, a mediterranean area between wild forest symbols, hostile, and domesticated gardens, is a mirror Eden. Space closed and open, bounded, translates the self, the intermediate, social personality. The park is an intermediate area, a no man's land, a space of all possibilities, and brings together the sacred world of interiority and the profane world of exteriority. It’s no paradise symbol, no infernal symbol, it’s the middle world.
