Summary/Abstract: The fact that Transylvania had for more than 1000 years a special history, separated from the extra-Carpathian space, being dominated by the Hungarian Kingdom and later by the Habsburg Empire with a well-structured multi-ethnic population, imposed a daily reality and a human environment different from the mother country , also reflected in the literature of the intracarpal space. In the Klingsor magazine's message, the idea of a Transylvanian literature of languages and different cultural origins begins to emerge, including a new notion of "Transylvanianism", with some political, but especially literary, connotations, the idea agreed by both politicians (the Romanian writer Ioan Slavici was imprisoned by the new Romanian authorities for the fact that, after the First World War, he fought for a status of autonomy of Transylvania, like Switzerland).
