SOME IMPERFECTIONS IN AGRICULTURAL LAND VALUATION METHODS AND THEIR IMPACT ON NATIONAL SECURITY

Summary/Abstract: Valuation of agricultural land in the Republic of Bulgaria is a necessary act when carrying out various legal transactions - alienation procedures, establishment of land easements, acts of sale of agricultural land and so on. Assessment is an intellectual process that rests on a set of legal regulations that lack a unified assessment technology. There are some anachronisms and contradictions in this legal package that prevent maximum objectivity in the assessment. Bearing in mind that land is a basic land resource, which is both a condition and a factor in national security, the imperfections in the regulatory framework regarding their assessment have a negative impact on the parameters of national security.
