Summary/Abstract: Voiculescu builds his feminine characters with force and grace, adding besides specific elements to femininity, fascination, illusion and magic. Some identify themselves with human beings, conscious, deities, witches, or living creatures or feminine elements of nature, thus falling into the category of initiating characters of the fantastic trauma that is about to make changes to the second category, the characters of the type experimenter or recipient of the ongoing epic adventure. Magic experiences stimulate the desire to overcome and change fate; in the Romanian folk tradition, an important place is occupied by the spells, charms and ghosts that invoke with symbolic values every little thing in the surrounding world.
