Summary/Abstract: This article explores verse in the poetry of contemporary Polish poet Eugeniusz Tkaczyszyn-Dycki (1962), putting forth the thesis that the specific way of its construction (on a structural and content level) creates a poetic ‘body’, which becomes an intersection of high and low ideas about man and the world, and thus brings the Polish author’s poetry closer to popular religious texts.
