Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the different propagandistic displays found in Victor Pelevin’s contemporary novel Generation П in relation to the eponymous film directed by Victor Ginzburg. The main purpose of this text is to comment on the effect of the advertising industry on post-Soviet society and to compare the results in the novel and the cinematic version of the text.
