Summary/Abstract: In the present article, there are analysed names of places that have in their componence the appellative vie (vineyard), recorded by the actual toponymy from Oltenia, particularly focusing on the denominations formed with anthroponyms; they are to be analysed from the point of view of their structure and frequency.
