Summary/Abstract: Assessing student knowledge as a purposeful collection of data (measurement of effects) is an indispensable part of upbringing and education. In the modern approach, the emphasis is placed on conducting formative assessment, which is networked into the regular process of learning and teaching, where the primary goal is not just a grade but real feedback.There are two key elements in the format's assessment of knowledge, in this context student engagement that shows interest in work, and final success in the execution of certain tasks and activities is counted, so in that interaction, special attention can be paid to contents that have been shown to be were not learned.In this research, the goal was to determine how many teachers apply and for which subjects they mostly use digital tools in the formative assessment of the knowledge of grade school students, and how well they know the possibility of using digital tools in the formative assessment of the knowledge of grade school students, as well as their attitude towards their use.The obtained results of the research will be a guideline for the improvement of the teaching process, a better insight into the real knowledge of classroom students, and will be an incentive for classroom teachers to use digital tools more often for the purpose of formative assessment of students' knowledge. It will also be a document with clear examples of the application of digital tools in the aforementioned assessment method.
