Summary/Abstract: The paper discussed the anthroponyms derived from the first names, which are included in the East Slavic designation and are excerpted from the source documents of Piotrków Trybunalski, written in the years 1808–1930. The anthroponyms, derived from the Orthodox baptismal names, closely related to the Christian culture of East Slavic peoples, were recognized as characteristic of these naming processes. The paper also mentioned the interpenetration of morphological and phonetic features of various language systems appearing side by side in one area, reflected in first names and denominal structures of the Piotrków’s territory.
