Summary/Abstract: In broadly understood culture, a hybrid may be associated with something heterogeneous, deviating from the usual standards, which may cause anxiety and constitute an example of an anomaly. In ancient times, hybrids were defined as creatures consisting of at least two different elements, e.g. an ox with a human head. Hybridity, despite the passage of so many years, has not changed. Of course, we refer to it in other aspects than only to living creatures, such as art, movies, and cars, but also to legal instruments functioning in the current legal state In this article, the author’s main goal was to present hybrid legal forms used by public administration. Nevertheless, the Author’s approach to this subject was more theoretical than dogmatic, hence the considerations focused on the creation or purposefulness of these forms in administrative law.As a result of the conducted research, one may be tempted to conclude that hybridism is increasingly used by the legislator regarding the legal forms of public administration. The reasons for establishing them are related not only to new public tasks and the needs of society but also to the speed and greater effectiveness of the implementation of public administration tasks.
