Summary/Abstract: The recent need to turn to online teaching in higher education – and not only – has represented a real challenge for most teaching staff and students alike all over the planet, given the speed of the imposed transition, the difficulties in adapting to a fully online type of education, the pandemic conditions etc. Response to this challenge has not been easy to design for any instructor, with so many unknown elements to be taken into consideration: technical equipment, skills required to use such tools, pressure of the (inter)national context and so on. Therefore, the paper aims to: (i) share a (finally rewarding) experience in this route of change from an in-person to an online instructional process, (ii) present and discuss an example of an original project created especially for online teaching, and (iii) pause for a moment and reflect on the changes in a teacher’s roles and profile while answering the challenge.
