Activity of auxiliary units in Łódź according to their bodies. Analysis of pilot survey

Summary/Abstract: Auxiliary units are one of the attributes of fully democratic state. They can be also perceived as a ground of cooperation between authorities and society in respect to public tasks. However, for citizens, they should be the way of participation in governing the unit or the city. The author of the article attempts to find the real role of units in the structure of districts. For this purpose she describes the results of the pilot survey that presents the opinion of auxiliary units bodies on selected issues connected with their activities in Łódź.
