Summary/Abstract: The popularization of science refers to the set of discursive practices that aim to explain a scientific source discourse. The communication of science, in the current era - especially after theCOVID-19 pandemic -, becomes a The popularization of science refers to the set of discursive practices that aim to explain a scientific source discourse. The communication of science, in the current era - especially after the COVID-19 pandemic -, becomes a driving force of development, hence the role of journalistic authorities in the encouragement and popularization of scientific research. The journalist is thus led to mobilize all his discursive skills in order to convey scientific statements in the common language of the general public. This contribution is interested in the way in which the journalist dresses up articles relating to the health field with a popularizing intention. It should be noted that we will focus only on paratextual elements as a means of popularizing scientific data. Our choice is justified by the fact that these processes are considered to be both scriptural elements aimed at appealing to the reader's intelligence and arousing his or her curiosity, and substantial in the language practices of the media. This might be the reason for which the journalist takes care to use meticulously eye-catching paratexts in order to solicit the intention of the readership and to make the reception of the statement attractive.
