Summary/Abstract: The formation of terms refers to obtaining a new terminological area after a set of language-specific processes. In this case, we are talking about a process of enriching the lexicon in the field of clothing following a general pattern valid for the common language. As a result, the main processes of formation of linguistic elements related to terminological systems, including that of clothing, follow two fundamental directions: an internal and an external one. The present study deals with internal formation.
