TEATROLOŠKA ANALIZA PREDSTAVE UGURSUZ NEDŽADA IBRIŠIMOVIĆA
Theatrical Analysis of the Play UGURSUZ by Nedžad Ibrišimović

Summary/Abstract: In the paper „Theatrological analysis of the play Ugursuz by Nedžad Ibrišimović”, the text of the play Ugursuz, directed by Gradimir Gojer and performed on the professional Bosnian stage of Chamber Theater ′55 in Sarajevo in December 1997, on the 35th anniversary of the artistic work of the writer Nedžad Ibrišimović, was investigated and analyzed. Primary and secondary materials used in the work, i.e., direct (manuscript text of the play, poster, theater catalog) and indirect sources (scenic photos, newspaper articles, theater reviews, theories in the field of theatrology, dramaturgy, sociology, aesthetics, theater history), speak directly and indirectly about the subject being analyzed. In the introduction, the theoretical framework of the research is given, the basic terms used in the work are defined, and the basic literature is listed, which served as a guide when creating the work in which the play Ugursuz was analyzed. In the main part of the work, the text of the drama Ugursuz (the starting point of the play) is analyzed, i.e. speech signs of the literary template intended for stage performance, viewed as a stage act, as well as the text of the play, i.e. its structural elements: actors’ interpretation, artistic components of the play, the director’s vision of the play Ugursuz and the director’s interpretation of its template, then the audience as a constitutive, indispensable part of the stage act, that is, the performance. Theatrical analysis of the play Ugursuz by Nedžad Ibrišimović confirmed that the authors of the new artwork managed to reach the meaning of Ugursuz and experience the play together with the theater audience. Analytical‒critical observations and judgments of direct and indirect theatrical sources confirmed the correlation between the dramatic text (the origin of the play) and the text of the play
