Summary/Abstract: Love in Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu is unitive as a relationship between subject and object, making up the love discourse. The speech becomes a praise to the body. It is established as a relationship between the subject in love and the desired object. Discourse is seen as an Imaginary of the Loving Ego. The work is embroidered as a rhetoric of desire and glimpses a mystique of pleasure.
