Summary/Abstract: Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu's prose is an ideology of passion. The prose writer turns it on all sides, analyzes it from a historical, mythical, mythological, phenomenological, psychoanalytic perspective. She truly makes an incursion into passion, desire, we are witnessing a dissection of Desire, of Passion in Proustian style. Bengali’s eroticism is a by-product of modernization with external motivations to the genuine resemblance of the Romanian soul.
