Summary/Abstract: Household consumption expenditures are accepted as one of the most important welfare indicators of a society or country today. For this reason, determining factors, affecting household consumption expenditures are among the main topics that attract the attention of researchers. One of the most important factors determining the formation of consumption demand is income. In this context, household income satisfaction can be considered an important indicator of fair income distribution. It is therefore aimed to reveal the indicators and their effect of household expenditures on household income satisfaction, which is a subjective concept. The quantile regression method is used in the analysis. The data set consists of grouped household consumption expenditures obtained by the Household Budget Surveys for the period 2003-2019 published by the Turkish Statistical Institute. As a result, all variables, except education services contribute to household income satisfaction in a similar and monotonous pattern in all quantiles.
