Summary/Abstract: The presented comments attempt to combine information about the cuisine of western Greater Poland with a lexicographic interpretation. The vast majority of the set of the presented material was determined by its peculiarity, even compared to other Greater Poland dialects. Dąbrówka Wielkopolska is a place that has remained outside the Polish state for the longest time. Therefore, it should not be surprising that there is a large share of German borrowings, which is also visible in the culinary lexis. The article presents the most popular dishes on the table in Dąbrówka Wielkopolska. In quotations that illustrate the meanings (and uses) of individual names, you often find data about the viability of practising a particular recipe. I conducted my exploration personally in 2005–2018.
