Summary/Abstract: Composition, which is expressed as the alphabet of art, is the most basic element in terms of an artistic identity in order to fit the visual language into a regular and meaningful whole in plastic arts. As a common identity in decorative arts, in order to create the composition, it is necessary to present the idea by considering the place to be decorated as a whole. Within the scope of our subject, the color and compositional aspects of the exterior tiles of the Hodja Ahmet Yesevi tomb, each area in particular, and its works in general have been evaluated as a whole. The material used outside the tomb consists of bricks to the extent that the geographical structure allows. Especially glazed bricks and tiles have been the subject of intense preference in magnificent buildings, religious or civil architecture. In these spaces, the and geometric motifs, of vegetable animal origin on tiles are reproduced side by side, with consecutive symmetrical, reverse symmetrical, consecutive even numbers, as 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/10, 1/12… and a whole is obtained from the piece. It is constructed in the form of geometric forms such as square, circular, semicircular, triangle and rectangle. A visual richness was created by applying the motifs to the wall in the form of belts with hadiths and verses, mostly in kufic script. Since circular and square areas as architectural forms are the main elements of the building in the work we have examined, such forms are dense in composition design.
