Summary/Abstract: In the presentation of the point of the art in Turkey, there are various organizations within the public and private galleries. The distribution of these galleries are bank galleries, state painting and sculpture galleries, private galleries, galleries operating in various industries. The number of such organizations that are expected to have a serious economic impact on Turkish art and artists is small to be compared with European countries. These spaces, which contribute to the strengthening of the bond between artists and art lovers, must be sustainable and supported in economic terms. The situation of the galleries under the support of individuals or private organizations is in a stalemate due to the development of art. Considering the number of visitors of these institutions operating in major European cities of culture and art, there are serious differences between the samples in Turkey in economic terms. In this report, the economic place in the art market of private art galleries and auctions in Turkey will be discussed.
